Senior Level SharePoint/.NET Architect
hodgsonConsulting is looking for a senior SharePoint architect for a 6 month contract position, with the possibility of extending into a full time position. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of SharePoint implementations, and who would enjoy working in a small and diverse consulting environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the architecture and deployment of new SharePoint deployments
• Providing insight into best practices for both SharePoint and .NET development
• Work with our diverse group of programmers, designers, and consultants to launch successful intranet and internet sites for our clients

Entry Level HTML Developer

.NET Developer
The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of web-based applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio.NET; C#, ASP, VB, and XML. Candidate must also have at least 2 years specialized experience in developing web based applications using SQL Server. The position requires creative problem solving skills and the ability to implement best practices in web design and development.

This position requires experience in analyzing technical requirements, requirements gathering, designing systems, and strong knowledge of the web and database technologies. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills - both written and oral.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in application development consulting projects using Microsoft technologies
• Demonstrated proficiency with.NET; sample URLS required
• Ability to anticipate and identify problems, showing a professional attitude while working with the customer
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree requirement & 1-2 years experience

QA Tester

We are seeking a QA tester to provide QA support for all application software development for external customers. Interacts with project managers and application developers to exchange project information. Identify test and use cases from requirements. Create and maintain test plans as a project deliverable. Help project management to estimate testing effort during and after project proposal phase. Support user acceptance testers. Work closely with project management and application developers on remediation efforts. Create and maintain test summary reports. Log and maintain defects into bug tracking system. 

Education Requirements

B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 -2 years experience in software quality assurance
• Experience with the technical aspects of software development, life-cycle phases, and methodologies.
• Experience writing test plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment
• Ability to learn new QA tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Ability to multi-task in a consulting environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and defect tracking tools
• Background in .NET and SQL Server a plus.
• Experience with test automation tools and developing automated test scripts a plus.
