NCB is dedicated to strengthening communities nationwide through the delivery of banking and financial services, complemented by a special focus on cooperative expansion and economic development. Headquartered in Washington, DC, NCB also has offices in Alaska, California, New York and Virginia. In addition, NCB has a growing community banking network in southwestern Ohio.

NCB Capital Impact, an affiliate of NCB, is a national nonprofit organization that empowers America's underserved communities to progress.

Original Website environment:
NCB and NCB Capital impact had two unique domains and were hosted on independent web servers. Neither had a CMS and redundant member profile data was housed and authenticated independently. Both web properties maintained unique branding and user interface design signals.

Redesigned/Developed environment:
Hodgson migrated both websites into the Ektron CMS allowing Administrators to configure both sites from a single ‘Work area’. Additionally, content providers had the opportunity to share content based on subject matter and provide users with search results from both sites. Integration with member authentication was streamlined and integrated directly into the membership database. Hodgson also implemented tracking codes for Google Analytics to monitor user behavior and traffic.

Hodgson utilized a Project Manager, a DBA, a Designer, Developers and a QA/QC resource over a period of three months to ensure the smooth transition from the original multiple environments, to a single web server.

Result:
NCB / NCB Capital Impact now have an Ektron CMS driven website which is scalable and allows content providers the ability to manage and administer their own content. The system also allows members to manage their own profiles and access member only information.
