Original Website environment:
Prior to the redesign, the corporate website had become a destination for program and ‘internal’ department content. The website was utilized as a tool to sell products, registrations and services to users and members without a defined strategic plan of how to convert those users and without an understanding of who those users were.
The website was being delivered by a combination of the AMS (Aptify), static pages and propriatary datasources and technologies. Aptify provided some user data and login fucntionality, but was not allowing single sign on or personalized content for target marketing.
Redesigned/developed environment:
Hodgson redesigned the user interface to focus on its most profitable offerings and guide users in an intuitive manner to multiple areas of content.
Hodgson also integrated the Aptify member authentication to streamline member experience and integrated directly into the membership database. Hodgson also implemented tracking codes for Google Analytics to monitor user behavior and traffic.
Hodgson utilized a Project Manager, a DBA, a Designer, Developers and a QA/QC resource over a period of eight months to ensure the smooth transition from the original website and multiple data sources, to a single web server environment.
