Senior .NET Developer

hodgsonConsulting is looking for a senior .NET developer for a 6 month contract position, with the possibility of extending into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of .NET implementations, and who would enjoy working in a small and diverse consulting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development of websites built on the .NET platform

Entry-Level HTML Developer

The ideal candidate will have experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and will exhibit a willingness to learn and improve his or her skills in a diverse consulting environment.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and a desire to become an expert in these technologies

The selected candidate will support the design, development, and on-going maintenance of large scale websites, and may assist in supporting web-based software applications. Candidates will often be expected to maintain multiple websites.

.NET Developer

The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of web-based applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio.NET; C#, ASP, VB, and XML. Candidate must also have at least 2 years specialized experience in developing web based applications using SQL Server. The position requires creative problem solving skills and the ability to implement best practices in web design and development.

This position requires experience in analyzing technical requirements, requirements gathering, designing systems, and strong knowledge of the web and database technologies. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills—both written and oral.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in application development consulting projects using Microsoft technologies

  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems, showing a professional attitude while working with the customer

Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the design, development and management of websites. The position requires creative problem solving skills and the ability to implement best practices in web design, the development process, production management and online marketing.

Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with our clients, designers, and developers. This position will involve all aspects of website / application development from concept to completion and will employ all elements if web strategy and tactics.

Candidate must have an understanding of basic web authoring skills, some understanding of databases and a strong understanding of usability and accessibility. Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills are required.

Education Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
